Chief Appraiser Expertise Proven Across Multiple Banking Institutions

Insightful appraisal reviews performed by a trusted review appraiser serve as a critical line of defense for institutions that rely on numerous third-party appraisers. My approach is shaped by decades of subject matter responsibility gained as a Chief Appraiser at multiple banks, each with distinct risk appetites, review cultures, and regulatory approaches. My experience enables me to quickly identify appraisal issues that could unnecessarily expose an institution to unforeseen risk, downstream misunderstandings, and regulatory concerns from auditors and examiners. Through technically sound and well-reasoned communication with third-party appraisers, I facilitate reconciliations that preserve appraiser independence while ensuring reports meet institutional standards and regulatory expectations.
